The South East Bayswater Residents Association was formed in 1970 and works topromote the interests of residents in the area. SEBRA represents some 1,000 residents across the region. We hold several events each year and welcome members to the annual Summer Garden Party and the SEBRA Annual General Meeting. We are a non-profit, non party-political, voluntary organization. SEBRA Summer Party 2008
Tickets have now gone on sale for the 2008 event. The Summer Party takes place on Wednesday 2nd July in Cleveland Square. Admission will be £10 for adults and £2.50 for children. Tickets can be obtained from John Zamit. Call 07768 06877.

Westminster has created a new communications platform called "Local Involvement Networks" (LINks) which offers patients and the public a chance to shape and influence how local health and social care services are delivered. It is an independent network run by local people and made up of individuals, community groups and voluntary organisations. Read More
Westminster Senior Citizens Forum takes place on 2nd July at 2.00pm at Westminster Council House, 97 -113 Marylebone Road. Martin Davis Chairman of Age Concern will be the gueset speaker.
Local residents can now enjoy new retail experiences in the Bayswater area. Budgens has closed and Waitrose opened its' doors at the same location on 29th May. W.H.Smith has opened at 132 Queensway. A new Coffee Republic outlet with a small deli has opened at 124 Queensway. Food Inc. at Whiteleys opens in June.
Bayswater Post Office on Praed Street will be moving in the next couple of months. The new office will be located at the other end of Praed Street opposite Sale Place. The new location backs onto the canal at Unit 6, West End Quay.
Westbourne Grove remains closed due to major works for the Spring and Summer period.
The second Crossrail Paddington Liasion Group took place in March aimed at building community relations and communications. Crossrail has begun excavation work in the Paddington area. The "trial boring hole" on Cleveland Terrace/corner of Eastbourne Terrace has now been completed. Expect major disruption in this area when the "utilities" pipes under Eastbourne Terrace are moved starting June 2009. Westbourne Terrace, Bishops Bridge Road, Cleveland Terrace and Chilworth Street will be affected.
