- New document page reassuringly comprehensive
- Master page spreads are left/right but it isn’t obvious as there is no divider
- Snapping to grids/guides works way better than InDesign
- Love the Pexels/Pixabay panels
- Tabs stops not as good as InDesign – InDesign has a control bar that pops up over the text
- Miss having leading control next to font size in top toolbar
- Miss having kerning control in top bar
- Really miss up/down and left/right arrows next to font size/leading/kerning etc…
- Column guides won’t hide (looks like they should)
- Doesn’t look like columns are part of the layout that objects align to. (Drag a text box for example, it doesn’t highlight when aligned with a column)
- Miss not being able to enter dimensions of a text box, and also clicky up/down size for this
- Just discovered how image frames work – This is very different to ID – Looks good.
- Partly in relation to some points above, I really miss the comprehensive ‘advanced’ toolbar that ID has
- I prefer ID’s text rendering, the page just looks a bit nicer to the eye
- In general I prefer the ID interface, but of course that’s what I’m used to.
